RUCA - 9 years old, 65 pounds, house trained, great with people (kids included). great on a leash, loves to go for walks.

SWEET & A BIG HEART

RUCA was surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her. This is not her first rodeo at VBACAC. She was surrendered years ago when her owners also could no longer care for her. Help us shut this revolving door.

She is sweet, happy and friendly. She loves her humans of all ages and is now known to get along with cats.

Ruca loves to play. She's energetic, outgoing and great on a leash. This makes walks around your neighborhood pleasant and enjoyable.

Not only house trained, this silly girl is crate trained as well.

Ruca was a bit nervous at first when she arrived but given the time and space to settle in, she came out of her shell and proved to be a lively and jovial force.

Ruca does have a habit of jumping fences and getting into mischief when left alone. You are now forewarned! 

At 9 years old, Ruca is experienced at being a valuable member of a family. Don't let her age fool you! You and your children can still bond with her. In fact, it might be easier as she's past the puppy behaviors which need constant training.

Ruca can be hit or miss with other dogs so we are looking for her to be an only dog.
