Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Large
Update from Eden's foster family:
3-4 y.o. female boxer/pit mix, 70 lbs. of total sweetness
When we first picked up Eden from the shelter, we learned quickly that her kennel behavior was nothing like she is in the home. She has shown to be super low maintenance, calm, and timid in the home, and rarely barks. (In the shelter kennels, she was vocal, high energy, and seemed confident) She can be left alone for several hours in the living room, and she doesn’t mess with anything at all (UNLESS you leave a harness on her, she will get it off!) Currently winning!!! < Eden: 2 – Harnesses: 0 >. She cannot get close enough to you and will even nudge or put her paw on you to get some pets. She thinks she is a 5 lb. lapdog and does not know what “personal space” is. Because of this reason only, we think it is best to have older kids in the home, as she does not realize how big she is. She also really loves to be out in the yard with us, fetching toys, and doing some zoomies. Although we do not know the actual full story or circumstances, she was originally surrendered for attacking the cat, and going after the chinchilla in the home. We have seen some prey drive on our walks and in the yard so with all this said, and with surrender reason, she needs to be the only pet in the home, and adopters should be willing and ready to help her be successful in her new home. She is quite shy when meeting new people so a lil patience will go a long way, and treats help too! She loves treats. In the short time we have had her, we see what a complete sweetheart she is. If you have no other pets, and do not mind losing “personal space” you have to meet our EDEN!!
