SIMON SAYS - 10 years old, 52 pounds, house trained, dog social, good with kids & cats, friendly & playful Old Man Simon can't catch a break! He is a repeat visitor at VBACAC. He is friendly and playful and has a magnificent smile to match this energy. He has put on a little weight since we last saw him but don't we all? He enjoys walks which can definitely help with this extra fluff. He gets very excited and jumps in this excitement. (Please note that he is good with children but may also play rough with them.) He pulls on the leash in this excitement (although it could be his being stuck in a shelter cage again..) He enjoys the outdoors and is super fun in a yard, chasing tennis balls, following you for treats, or climbing agility equipment on his own. Simon is scared of brooms & loud noises. Simon just doesn't like to be left alone. He is known to tear up carpet, furniture and curtains. He will even try to bust out of a crate. We are looking for a family who is home more often than not, maybe with another animal to keep him company. If you think you are the family Simon needs to be a part of, come on in to meet him!
