DIGGER - 5 year old guy!  LOTS OF POSITIVES!  POTTY TRAINED!  CRATE TRAINED! 

I had heard that DIGGER was described as HAPPY & OUTGOING.  Yet, when I first started taking DIGGER out, I was surprised at how shut down he seemed to be (he’s definitely not a fan of shelter living!) 

Yet, after just a few times taking him out, I could see the FUN, PLAYFUL side of his personality start to come out.  He’s perkier, has a pep to his step now, loves to sniff, and explore.  He likes to run around and play like a young guy.

So here’s what else we see:

• Has participated in our shelter’s PLAYGROUP program.
• Good in the car; jumps right in and sits quietly.
• Loves cheeseburgers!
• Great on leash - loves walking, strolling, & smelling the roses.

Here’s what DIGGER’s previous owner said about him:

• Crate trained!  Potty trained!
• Likes other dogs; not a fan of cats.

• Likes children but needs supervision around younger children.
• Loves any attention from his people.
• Plays with Frisbees, squeaky/plush toys, and likes Tug.
• Can be left alone in the house without separation issues – either in a crate or a separate room.

DIGGER’s original owner passed away and he found himself at the shelter.  He was adopted but wasn’t a good match for a family with younger kids. 

DIGGER has become one of my FAVORITE dogs!  He’s EASY to be around and seeing him SPARKLE now is very hopeful for a successful transition into a home. Come meet him for yourself.
