LANA - 1-5 years old, 50 pounds, house trained but may have accidents when left alone, loves other dogs she is properly introduced to, pulls on leash, excitable, affectionate. LANA is a young, affectionate and playful girl but she can't catch a break! The revolving shelter door is real for our girl, Lana. Adopted, surrendered, adopted, surrendered - neither due to no fault of her own. Military orders, housing, and now allergies her human developed. WHAT A STREAK OF BAD LUCK! Let's find this girl the forever home she deserves! Lana is super friendly and loves the water! She is a hoot with a sprinkler (check out the video link) and entertaining with other dogs. She is that dog who runs around begging any other dogs to play with her. When she gets a return of play act, it's down! She runs, she wrestles, she chases. *Please note we are always supervising during our shelter playgroup. She is pretty good on a leash although excitement always brings out pulling. She can be good with kids but also can get a bit rough with them. Supervision is always important. Lana may also get anxious when left alone. This may show itself in chewing on furniture or having accidents in the home. There are ways to handle these behaviors. Please feel free to speak to a caretaker for additional information.
