EXCUSE MY CONE - but this means I am ready to go home right now! BOX - 1-5 years old, 47 pounds, friendly, happy, playful, treat motivated Box is a friendly-from-the-start kinda guy. He was found as a stray so we don't know much about him but will report what we learn as we go. He easily allowed me in his kennel to leash him up and lead him outside. He is curious as to where he is and what's going on but that's par for the course. He was easy to walk and was pleasant to have him at my side. He stuck close to me in the yard and enjoyed the treats I gave him. We are not sure how he feels about other dogs yet so bring yours in for a meet and greet. While in our care, it was found that he is heartworm positive (heartworm disease is spread by mosquitos when dogs are not on monthly prevention) which may sound scary at first but he is already undergoing treatment and it's no cost to the adopter!
