STARFIRE - 1-5 years old, high energy STARFIRE is full of energy and full of spirit. He is young. He jumps. He can be mouthy. He can push your buttons. But he will also fill your days with life and laughter! Starfire is always ready to go and always ready to learn. He could definitely use some training - he has tons of energy and nowhere to put it! In a very short period of time, we saw this vibrant boy sit and take a treat gently. You could look at him like a blank slate. With training comes bonding and friendship and trusting. He loves to run and he loves to play. He loves treats and he loves to be near you, so close sometimes that the Tigger-jumping shows right in your face. All in fun! His enthusiasm is over the moon. His love is right there with it. Starfire arrived with 3 housemates but all have since been adopted. He was going to our shelter playgroup but has shown a tendency to not listen to other dogs’ corrections well and play very rough which led to some scuffles. He should probably be an only pet so he can get all the attention, training, and of course, love. If you have the energy, the patience and the willingness to give Starfire a chance, come on out to VBACAC to meet him. Starfire is currently in a back kennel so if you don't see him, please just ask!
