BOOGIE - 8 years old, 50 pounds, house trained, good with kids, no other dogs or cats. After being in the same home for most of his adult life, Boogie is now looking for a new one due to his owner's military orders. He has gorgeous brindle fur, ears that stick straight up, and deep dark brown eyes. He is on the thin side right now which a little TLC and nice meals should help. He is calm and easy going around children but please remember he doesn't know your kids yet so patience and respect for his space should be encouraged. He seems to be crate trained when left alone but otherwise trusted to roam free with his family. We are told he barks and growls at other dogs so we are requesting a home without any other pet. Boogie is having no issues meeting new people at the shelter. He comes easily and enjoys treats. He is now sniffing around a lot as he is learning about this shelter environment.
