Louie - 1 year old, 40 pounds, house trained, good with kids.

Louie was surrendered when her family was moving and couldn't bring her along.

Cute as can be with her black floppy ears, Louie has black-on-the-top, brown-on-the-bottom-fur and a beautiful smile. 

She enjoys going for walks and playing with balls.

She can be trusted roaming free in the home with her family. When left alone, she is used to a crate, which she enjoys spending her nights in as well.

Louie is very playful and listens well.

And don’t forget, Louie is great with children!

Louie is also very very nervous in the shelter and might need time adjusting to a new family and routine. Once settled in, her personality will shine through.

We are told Louie is growly and rough with other dogs. We tried her in our shelter playgroup and it was clear her nervousness continued in the yard around the other dogs. She stayed to herself and wasn’t too keen on other dogs approaching her. 

Louie is currently in a back kennel so if you come in and don’t see her, please just ask.
