HALEY - 4 years old, 51 pounds, nervous but earns up in time
Sweet and quiet Haley arrived at VBACAC when her owner abandoned her at a relative’s house. She’s nervous (who wouldn’t be?) after finding herself in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people. Haley is warming up quickly though and showing us a friendly and dog tolerant girl. We tested her in our shelter playgroup where, at first she kept to herself but after a short time started to come out her shell. She sniffed others and others sniffed her. She ran a little, chased a little, and corrected a couple dogs who ended up being a bit too pushy for her. Haley will need some time getting used to a new home and family. Given time and attention you’ll have a super loving and sweet girl at your side. Haley is currently in a back kennel so if you come in to meet her and don’t see her, please just ask.
