LUNA - 4 years old, 75 pounds, nervous but warms up to you, older kids or adult home, playful Surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her, beautiful German Shepherd Luna is nervous but slowly warming up to us. In playgroup with some gentle and respectful dogs, Luna seemed to enjoy trotting around with them, sniffing and just hanging out. Please note we specifically chose the other dogs she met and constantly supervised. She approached us humans easily to figure out who we were. We didn’t push trying to pet her but let her proceed at her own pace. *In a new home, it’s important to give newly adopted or foster dogs time and space as they settle in their new environment and learn new routines. Luna loves playing with balls, tug toys, frisbees and even squeaky toys! She lived with a cat in her previous home. She’s friendly with children although mostly avoidant of them. She can be protective as her breed is known for. Luna has some skin issues but is now on the mend. Described as loving, loyal and playful, Luna is ready to find a new home with a family willing and able to give her all the love and care she needs.
